The XHY series is a hybrid drill bit that seamlessly combines the durability of roller-cone bits with the high-efficiency rock-breaking capability of PDC bits. In hard-formation drilling, the XHY series strikes an optimal balance between directional control in high-strength formations and the need for rapid penetration, delivering outstanding performance in complex formations such as conglomerates and effectively addressing the limitations of pure PDC bits under specific operating conditions.


Technical Highlights

1. Suitable for directional drilling in hard formations and for increasing penetration rates in hard formations.

2. The drill bit adopts a mainstream design featuring dual-cone cutters and four cutting wings, with bearings and seals sourced from international suppliers, ensuring that its overall service life ranks among the industry’s best.

3. The optimized design of the cone-to-PDC cutter height differential enables composite drill bits to exhibit superior directional control and sidetracking performance in hard formations compared with PDC bits, thereby enhancing overall drilling efficiency.
