Product Description
  • Positioning

The XHR series is a high-RPM drill bit designed for high-speed drilling in soft formations. In operations aimed at achieving higher rate of penetration (ROP) in soft formations, the XHR bit leverages a unique tooth geometry configuration and hydraulic optimization to deliver efficient rock breakage and rapid cuttings removal, thereby significantly increasing drilling speed.

    Technical Highlights

    1. Suitable for high-speed drilling in soft formations.
    2. Optimize the irregularly shaped cutting teeth in the hybrid matrix to enhance rock-breaking efficiency while increasing the transport velocity of cuttings.
    3. Nozzles and flow passages optimized through CFD design deliver higher cuttings-carrying efficiency during high-speed drilling.
    4. The high-strength steel body enables a thinner cutter blade thickness, thereby preventing interference at the rear of the blade during high mechanical drilling rates.

    Applicable Operating Conditions

Drilling intervals in soft to medium-hard formations that require accelerated penetration, where the goal is to achieve the highest possible mechanical drilling rate.
